NOTICE OF SEARCH AND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR PRESIDENCY OF OPOL COMMUNITY COLLEGE

UNDER BOARD OF TRUSTEES RESOLUTION NO. 2024-07-04, s. 2024
FORMALLY AND PUBLICLY ANNOUNCES THAT THE SEARCH FOR PRESIDENT IS NOW OPEN.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Not less than thirty-five (35) years old and not more than sixty-one (61) years at the time of application;
- A natural-born Filipino citizen;
- Holder of an earned doctorate degree from a CHED-recognized HEI or foreign institution accredited by its respective higher education ministry/commission or appropriate regulatory body, which is defined as Level 8 in the PQF, under R.A. No. 10968;
- With a proven track record as SUC/LUC administrator (e.g., president, vice-president, dean, campus administrator, director) or high-level management executive administrator, whether in the public or private sector, for at least five years;
- Nomenclature of the position, especially in the private sector, may be clarified by the Board as long as the position is high-level management; and
- Must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or any crime involving moral turpitude, wherein the penalty is more than six (6) months.
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

Zone 3, Poblacion, Opol, Misamis Oriental - Detailed Curriculum Vitae, signed under oath (notarized)
- Transcript of Records, training certifications, professional accreditation, diplomas, and employment service records (certified true copy)
- Signed and notarized statement containing the Proposed Vision, Mission, and Development Goals for Opol Community College by the applicant.
- Certificates/clearances from the following government agencies, obtained not more than three (3) months from the filing date of application, indicating that the applicant has not been found guilty in any administrative or criminal case:
• National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)
• Sandiganbayan
• Civil Service Commission (CSC)
• Office of the City/Provincial/Regional Prosecutor
• Office of the Ombudsman (for government employees)
• Institution/Company where the applicant is presently employed - Birth certificate authenticated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
- Medical certificate of physical fitness issued by a physician from a government health institution, not connected with the applicant or the LUC applied for.
- Drug testing certificate pursuant to CSC Memorandum Circular No. 13, S. 2017.
- Neuro-psychiatric examination results obtained from a government health institution. If none is available, the neuro-psychiatric examination result shall be obtained from a DOH-accredited institution not connected with the applicant.
- Duly accomplished and notarized Personal Data Sheet – CSC Form 212 (Revised 2017).
- Other Related Documents, If Any:
a) Relevant Administrative Experiences:
– Administrative Experiences (e.g., School President, Dean, etc.)
– Linkages in the Administration (International, National, Regional, and Local)
b) Managerial Competence: – Awards Management (International, National, Regional, and Local)
c) Published Research Work: – Published research work (other than dissertation) in a refereed and CHED-accredited journal and extension (outreach program)
d) Additional Achievements: – Published books, innovations, patented inventions, publications, and other creative works and scholarly outputs during the last 10 years
An applicant who does not meet any of the above-mentioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit the pertinent supporting documentary evidence by the set deadline shall be disqualified from the Search Process.
IMPORTANT:
- Interested applicants must submit one (1) set of the original hard copy of the documentary requirements. This set should be enclosed in an envelope addressed to the SCP Chairperson:

In addition to the hard copy, applicants must also submit six (6) clear scanned copies of the same documentary requirements. These scanned copies should be emailed to [email protected] and addressed to the SCP Chairperson. - Applications and documentary requirements should be submitted to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Municipal Hall, Annex Building, Zone 3, Poblacion, Opol, Misamis Oriental, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday. Applications may be filed in person, through a representative, by registered mail, or through an authorized private courier.
- Submission of applications must be made on or before September 29, 2024, at 5:00 P.M.
